EU’s stats- og regeringschefer forsøgte den 26. marts 2020 at finde en fælles forståelse for, hvordan Europa kommer igennem COVID-19-krisen. Der er dog stadig uenighed om anvendelsen af blandt andet Den Europæiske Stabilitetsmekanisme og mulige ”coronaobligationer”.
The distribution of working time scheme will make it possible to temporarily reduce working time in accordance with the collective agreement for a period of time, and thereby avoid dismissal of the affected employees, for example during times of declining orders.
The breakout of coronavirus places Danish employees and businesses in a difficult situation. When hotel rooms are vacant or when manufacturing companies cannot get components because of the coronavirus, companies are facing revenue shortfalls at a time when they still have to pay their bills. The Government has therefore concluded a tripartite agreement on an employee package which is to protect Danish jobs and ensure that employees get paid as normal.
